The case for simulcast

Your audience already left FM. Meet them where they are.

The signal still goes out. The listeners moved to glass and speakers you don’t broadcast to yet.

68%

of US radio listening now happens digitally — TuneIn, mobile, smart speakers, and in-car infotainment.

Edison Research, 2025
47%

of cars sold in 2025 don’t include AM radio at all — the dashboard is going digital-first.

Pew Research

You’re losing listeners not because they don’t love your station — but because they can’t tune in from their phone, their Echo, or their Tesla.

Figures cited from the most recent public reports available; we’ll refresh them as newer data lands.

How it works

5-minute setup, zero downtime.

Your terrestrial broadcast keeps going out exactly as it does today. We tap the feed and take it everywhere else.

  1. 1

    Connect your feed

Plug your existing audio feed into RadioHeart’s encoder URL — analog, AES/EBU, or an Icecast/Shoutcast stream.

  2. 2

    We re-encode in HD

Clean HD AAC at 96, 192, and 320 kbps — one adaptive stream that sounds right on data or Wi-Fi.

  3. 3

    Distribute everywhere

A web player on your own site, plus the third-party directories your listeners already browse — TuneIn, Radio Garden, and more.

  4. 4

    Track every listener

Geography, device, and session length — in real time, exportable for advertisers and PROs.

Recapture lost listeners. Find new ones.

Every place your audience already listens — your station, in their pocket, on their counter, in their car.

Analytics

Real numbers. Real-time. Exportable.

Compliance & reporting

A play history you can report from.

The part of going digital that broadcasters dread. We do not file with your PRO for you — we keep the record of what actually played, so the filing is a lookup instead of an archaeology project.

Track-level play history.

Every track that went out, with a timestamp, kept per station — the raw material every PRO return is built from.

Listener numbers beside it.

Analytics sit next to the play history, so you can put audience figures against the tracks that need them.

Your filing stays yours.

We do not generate PRO-format returns or submit on your behalf. What we give you is an accurate record and a straight answer about what we do not do.

RadioHeart keeps the play record; the licenses and the filing stay between you and your PRO. Requirements vary by country and station type — we’ll point you at the right guidance for yours.

Already streaming with another platform?

We migrate from Wide Orbit, NexGen, Liquidsoap, Radio.co, RadioKing, or any Icecast/Shoutcast source — with zero listener disruption. Your stream stays up while we cut over behind it.

What broadcasters ask

Straight answers for station owners.

Do we need new transmission equipment?

No. We accept your existing audio feed — analog, AES/EBU, or a stream URL. Nothing changes on the transmitter side; we tap what you already broadcast.

Can we keep our existing call sign and branding?

Yes. RadioHeart is invisible — listeners experience your brand, your call sign, and your artwork. We’re the infrastructure behind it, never in front of it.

Can we monetize via digital ads?

Yes — programmatic ad insertion is supported on the Business and Enterprise plans, so your digital audience becomes digital ad inventory.

Will this affect our FCC or Ofcom license?

No. Internet simulcast is separate from terrestrial broadcast licensing. Your over-the-air license is unaffected; the online stream is its own thing.

What about HD Radio?

If you broadcast HD Radio, we mirror your HD-1, HD-2, and HD-3 channels as separate streams — each with its own player, apps, and analytics.

Do you support Dolby AC-4 or xHE-AAC for next-gen broadcast?

Yes, on the Enterprise plan — for stations moving toward next-generation audio codecs and adaptive high-efficiency streaming.

Go global

Your signal deserves a global reach.
