The real cost of consumer streaming

Stop letting Spotify ruin your brand.

Three things every multi-site operator already knows — and ignores until it shows up on a compliance letter or a Yelp review.

Different vibe in every venue.

Each manager builds their own playlist. One store sounds like a beach bar, the next like a dentist’s office. Your brand is whatever the closing shift feels like that night.

Brand consistency drops at scale, not because of bad intent — because nobody owns the soundtrack.

Personal accounts in commercial use.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube — their consumer terms forbid public performance. In the US, statutory damages reach $150,000 per song. Most operators learn this from a letter, not a lawyer.

SoundExchange, ASCAP, BMI, PRS — any of them can audit. Personal accounts won’t cover you.

Zero control over what plays.

A franchisee blasts explicit hip-hop at 7am? You hear about it from a customer complaint, not your dashboard. By then the post is already on TikTok.

Without a control plane, every venue is a separate brand risk.

Licensing is its own topic. RadioHeart doesn’t license music for you — we deliver the infrastructure and the reporting so you can stay compliant with whatever music partner you choose. Read our licensing guide.

The control plane you’ve been writing in spreadsheets

Brand-controlled radio. Centrally managed. Tuned space by space.

One dashboard. Every venue. The music team in HQ pushes a change; every player in the network is updated in seconds — or whenever you say to.

Flagship

Centralized control

Build playlists from HQ. Push to every venue in one click — or stage a rollout by region, by brand tier, by daypart.

Flagship

Daypart scheduling

Different vibe for breakfast vs. lunch vs. happy hour — automated. Energy curves that match service flow, not someone’s mood.

Guardrailed overrides

Let local managers fine-tune within HQ-set rules. Allow a 10% local quota, restrict explicit content, lock dayparts.

Live announcements

“Free coffee for the next 30 minutes” — schedule it once and every station in the network carries it.

A station per space

Different rooms. Different moods. Same brand.

Want the dining room, the bar, and the patio each sounding like themselves? Run a station for each. Every station has its own schedule and its own plan, and they all wear the same brand jacket.

Legal, reliable, audit-ready

We don’t license your music. We make compliance easy.

RadioHeart is broadcasting infrastructure — the same separation your legal team prefers. You bring the music and the rights; we make sure what played, when, and where is reportable.

You bring your music license.

Connect to your existing PRS / ASCAP / BMI / SoundExchange agreement, or work with one of our licensing partners. See the guide →

We deliver the infrastructure.

Redundant streaming servers, monitored 24/7. GDPR-compliant listener analytics. SOC 2 Type II underway.

Audit trail included.

Every track that played, in every venue, with a timestamp and an ISRC where available. Export as CSV for your PRO’s reporting format.

Licensing requirements differ by country, by music source, and by venue size. RadioHeart’s compliance reporting works with every major PRO; we cannot, however, license music on your behalf.

What operations teams ask

The questions that come up on every procurement call.

Do you provide the music library?

No. RadioHeart is the platform — you bring your own music plus the licensing, or partner with a music supervisor. We work with several recommended licensing partners in the US, UK, and EU, and can introduce you on request.

Can different venues have slight playlist variations?

Yes. HQ sets the master playlist; each location can override within rules you define — for example, allow a 10% local-track quota, restrict overrides to specific dayparts, or block explicit content network-wide. Every override shows up in the play history.

What hardware do we need at each location?

Any device with a modern browser — a laptop, a mini-PC, a tablet, even older Android boxes. Connect it to your existing speakers via the audio jack or Bluetooth. We do not require proprietary hardware, and we do not lock you in to one.

Can we tie this to our POS or digital signage?

Not yet. A public API and webhooks are on the roadmap, and that is what those integrations will be built on. Today, announcements and playlist changes are scheduled or pushed from the dashboard.

What if internet drops at a location?

Each player caches the next four hours of programming. If a venue loses connectivity, music does not stop mid-shift — the player keeps broadcasting locally until the connection returns and re-syncs against HQ.

How do we know the network is up?

Our public status page tracks control-plane and player health, and every player caches ahead so a blip never reaches the floor. Enterprise customers get a dedicated manager as their escalation path.
