RadioHeart
Restaurants & bars

Background music for restaurants — branded, licensed, multi-location.

Match the music to the meal. Brunch is not dinner is not late-night — RadioHeart moves your dining room through the day automatically, in every location you run.

  • Daypart automation
  • A station per space: dining, bar, patio
  • Play history for every track
Sound familiar?

Three problems every operator here already knows.

The playlist dies at shift change.

Whoever closes picks the music. Your carefully-built dinner atmosphere becomes the line cook’s workout mix the minute the manager steps out.

Consumer Spotify in a commercial room.

Personal-account terms forbid public performance. In the US, statutory damages reach $150,000 per song — a letter, not a lawyer, is how most operators find out.

The bar and the dining room fight.

One speaker system, two moods. Diners want conversation volume; the bar wants energy. On one shared stream, someone always loses.

How RadioHeart fits

Built to slot straight into how you already run.

Daypart scheduling

Brunch, dinner, late-night — three energy curves per day, drawn once, replayed daily in every venue.

A station per space

Dining room, bar, and patio each run their own station, each on its own plan — one brand across all three.

HQ control, every location

Build playlists centrally. Push to 2 or 200 restaurants in one click, or stage by region.

Live announcements

“Kitchen closes in 30 minutes” — scheduled once and carried by every station in the group.

In practice

A 12-location trattoria group, one soundtrack.

HQ builds three dayparts on Monday; every location follows automatically all week. The bar station climbs energy after 20:00, the patio runs a brighter summer rotation April to October, and the play history shows every track that went out — per venue, per station.

Questions from this industry

Asked on nearly every call.

Do I need a separate music license?

Yes — RadioHeart is the platform, not the licensor. You connect your existing PRS / ASCAP / BMI agreement or work with one of our licensing partners; our play logs make the reporting side easy.

Can the vibe switch between brunch and dinner automatically?

Yes. Daypart scheduling changes playlist, energy, and volume targets on the clock — no one on the floor touches anything.

How does this work with our POS?

It does not yet. A public API and webhooks are on the roadmap, and POS-triggered announcements will be built on them. Today you schedule announcements ahead or push them from the dashboard.

Can each location have a slightly different mix?

Yes. HQ sets the master; locations can override within rules you define — for example a 10% local quota, or freedom on the bar station only.

What if the internet drops mid-service?

Each player caches the next four hours of programming and keeps playing locally until the connection returns.
